Duties and Qualifications of Administrative Staff Other Than Superintendent

Duty and Authority

As authorized by the Superintendent, administrative staff will have full responsibility for day-to-day administration of their assigned area. Administrative staff are governed by District policies and applicable the collective bargaining agreement and are responsible for implementing administrative procedures relating to their assigned responsibilities. Each administrator’s duties and responsibilities will be listed in the job description for that position.

Qualifications

Certified Administrators
All certified administrative personnel will have a valid administrator’s certificate and appropriate endorsements issued by the State Certification Board, and other qualifications as specified in the position’s job description.

Non-Certified Administrators
All non-certified administrative personnel will have post-graduate training, experience, and other qualifications as specified in the position’s job description.

Administrative Work Year

The administrators’ work year will be the same as the District’s fiscal year unless otherwise stated in the employment agreement. Compensation and Benefits Administrators will receive compensation and benefits as stated in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and the individual employment agreement.
