Fall Pictures for Emerson will be taken on October 11th by Lifetouch Studios. Smile big!
Please come see our school and meet our staff! Open House begins at 5:30 in the gym and then continues to classrooms. There will also be prize giveaways.
Every 3rd Friday of the month, starting 9/20, Mrs. Miner will be in the gym from 8:00-8:30 am to have coffee and chat with parents. It's a great way to keep open communication about our students.
Spring Pictures for Emerson will be on April 11th.
April 9th is Mackenzie River Pizza Night for Emerson. Bring the family for some delicious food! Bring the whole family!
Our PTO will host a Free Family Bingo Night on March 28th from 6-7:30pm in the Gym. It's a lot of fun, and the whole family is welcome!
Our next PTO Meeting will be on Thursday, March 14th, in the Library at 6:00 pm. Please join us!
Emerson will be hosting Family Math Night on March 7th from 6-7:30 in the Gym. There will be fun math games for all ages, and students who attend receive $10 in Bee Bucks!
Valentine's Parties will be in classrooms on Friday, the 15th.
Dress like you are 100 years old! This is always a fun day for us!
Kiwanas and Sylvan will be at Emerson on Feb 14th for our Bringing Up Grades (B.U.G.) presentation. It will take place in the gym at 2:30.
A big congratulations to our new Emerson Hall of Fame inductees: Kacie Woolverton, Jauclynn Lansing, Lacey Boston, Madison Zimmerman, Korin Mattson, Avery Barsness, Carter Barsness, Kimberly Breitbach, and Kadynce Garrison. Our top 6 will go on to the City Competition!

Make sure to stop by our Emerson Christmas Store on December 13th. Everything is $1.00, and there is free gift wrapping. It's a great place to let kids pick out presents for siblings, friends, etc...
Lifetouch will be at Emerson on Thursday, November 29th, to do picture retakes.

The Emerson Book Fair is coming soon! October 31st - Classes can preview books. November 1st - Books are for sale from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. November 2nd - Books are for sale from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Come and see what we have to offer!
Family BINGO Night will be on Oct. 25th from 6-7:30 pm in the gym. It will be Halloween themed, and there will be baked treats. It's a lot of fun!
Red Ribbon Week is coming from 10/23-10/26. We will be promoting being drug and alcohol free. There will be fun dress-up days!

Emerson is in a very residential area, and parking is hard to find. Remember that Garrison and Phillips are one-way streets, and please stay out of the bus zone for the welfare of the students getting off the bus. Phillips Avenue is the parent drop-off area. We appreciate your assistance in keeping our students safe!
Good attendance is extremely important! Missing just two days a month can adversely effect students' reading and math scores and eventually create a high risk of dropping out of school. We will have Attendance Spirit Week from 9/17-9/21.
