SBAC Testing—Smarter Balance Assessments are done throughout the district. On April 24th, testing   begins for 3rd—6th grade. Reading and English are first, followed by Math. 5th graders also have a Science     assessment the 18th—20th. Please make sure students come to school well rested and ready to test.      Attendance is very important for these two weeks.

Online Registration

We still have about 50 students who are not registered for next year. Students may be force transferred to other schools if classes fill up completely. If you can’t remember your user name or password for the Parent Portal, please email olrhelp@bsd1.org  Once you are in the Parent Portal, online registration is under “More” in the menu. If you are planning on attending another school, please let us know. You will still have to register with us, and then we can transfer records.

Earth Day!

Earth Day is on April 22nd, a Saturday.

Classrooms will each celebrate in their own way. We do have SBAC testing starting the 24th, so it will be a busy time. However, we will definitely make sure to have our Yellowjackets making sure our school looks good!

Please do not bring students to school before 8:00 AM. This is a supervision concern. Doors open at exactly at 8:00. Students are not marked tardy until after 8:25 AM.

We would like to extend a hearty welcome to our new cleaner, Soledad Omahoy, and to wish Diane LaBuff a happy retirement! We also welcome Alex Wombold. She is from the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch and has been meeting lots of our Yellowjacket students!
