Girls Basketball Roundup

Congratulations to Whittier’s girl’s basketball teams.  The 6^th grade had 3 teams this year and finished in 1^st, 3^rd and 4^th in the city tournament that finished last night.  Team Stewart took 1^st place, Team Cleveland took 3^rd place, and Team Cebulski took 4^th place.  The 5^th grade girls had 3 teams as well and will finish their city tournament tonight, with team Johnson playing in the city semi-finals this evening.  Great job girls and thank you to all the coaches that volunteered to help.  Competition is a great thing and allows different people to come together as one group and achieve great things.
