Message from the principal

Welcome to the Whittier Elementary School website!  My name is Josh Schad, your principal.  I am extremely proud of our school due to its diligent staff, students, and engaged parents.  

Whittier has implemented a variety of positive supports for its students such as positive postcards, the 200 Club, Eye of the Wildcat and monthly incentive parties for our Accelerated Reader program, perfect attendance, and academics.  We are extremely proud of our academic Hall of Fame program, which encourages students to enrich their academic abilities through a “jeopardy” style competition.  We are also proud of our parent involvement and competitive nature.  Whittier continually has the most students out for extracurricular activities as well as the top parent turnouts for school functions. 

Please review our website newsletter to keep current on upcoming events and activities.   Also, make sure you have activated your Infinite Campus parent portal account and app. This will allow you to access your child’s grades, attendance, and hot lunch account.   Instructions for each of these are on the main page of the school district website.
