Cross Country Meet

We had an amazing turnout last Thursday for our elementary cross-country meet. We had over 70 kids run during the event, which was more than double any other school! Not only did we take home the Spirit Award, but we also took home the Top Overall School. We had a bunch of kids who earned medals, and over 70 finishers. This was a great example of how when we all (parents, kids, and teachers) work together, we can do anything.  The best part of the whole event was that our kids did it while being Respectful, Responsible, and Productive. That is the most important thing here at Whittier. Yes, we want to win and compete at everything we do, but we must do it the right way. Thank you to Mrs. Houchin, Mrs. Whitaker and Mrs. Biastoch for helping get everything set up at the meet and practicing with the kids.
