Bus Passes

Each child registered for the bus will be issued a pass with their name and barcode that coordinates with Here Comes the Bus App. These passes are free of charge and students are required to have a pass to ride and scan themselves off and on the bus. Please read the following guidelines for lost and replacement cards.

Grades K-6

On the third lost or damaged card replacement, we will issue a warning through mail. A fourth card and any supplemental cards replaced will result in a write-up and bus privileges will be suspended for three or more days at the Director’s discretion.

Grades 7-12

Middle and High school students will not be allowed to ride the bus in the afternoon without a bus pass, scannable student ID, or temporary bus pass from the school’s office. On the third lost or damaged card replacement, we will issue a warning through mail. A fourth card and any supplemental cards replaced will result in a write-up and bus privileges will be suspended for three or more days at the Director’s discretion.

Lost Bus Pass?

If your child has lost a bus pass, you can request a new one by calling 406-533-2490 or emailing chasekd@bsd1.org. We typically produce new cards the same day and will have the card with their afternoon driver (or morning if they are AM rider only).
