HiSET  - High School Equivelency Test

No matter where life has taken you, the HiSET exam gives you the chance to take it in a new direction. Successfully passing the HiSET earns you high school credentials in Montana, and opens new doors to success in the workplace or continuing your education.

TAKE YOUR FIRST STEP:  Contact the Butte High Career Center at 406-533-2967 to meet with an advisor.  During that meeting, you will establish your personal educational goals, and set up a time to take the TABE test (Test of Adult Basic Education).  Once you've completed the TABE test, you will get your results and meet with your advisor to review your scores and determine your next step.

About the TABE Test:  The TABE test is used to assess your educational skills and needs.  It takes about three hours to complete.  Your results will be available immedicately.  Once you've completed the test, your advisor will help you develop an educational plan that fits your goals and specific needs.

** NEW FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING**

Adult Basic Education Classes will be scheduled to meet the individual's needs.  Your plan will fit your needs and that includes scheduling time in class with an instructor.  Early morning and evening class times will be available beginning in September 2021.
