Did you know the bond proposal will add much needed gym space? Currently the gym is used by 60 to 90 students each period of the day. East Middle School has 130 participants in volleyball that use the gym every night during the week. Games are played at East, but the District needs to also utilize West Elementary gym for practices.
Did you know the bond proposal will add much needed gym space at East Middle School? Currently to accommodate scheduling of all those wishing to use the gym, students are usually at the gym until 8:30pm during the school week. Travel teams that use the gym through facility use agreements have difficulties finding gym time.
