School Election May 7
Registration for the 2020-2021 school year will be online through the Infinite Campus parent portal. All families with students currently enrolled in Butte School District should have a parent portal account. Letters with activation codes were sent to families without portal accounts on the week of January 27th. If you need help with your account please email olrhelp@bsd1.org. Registration opens Friday, February 21st at 8:00 a.m. Parents of students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade who are currently in the district will see the “Online Registration” link when they sign in to their parent portal. Please use the link to complete the online registration and verify and update your student’s information. If you are an existing family and have a new student to add, you will be able to add them on the student tab as you go through the registration process.
If you are new to the district (this applies to families with no children currently enrolled in the district or students who are currently enrolled in the PK class at Emerson with no siblings currently enrolled), please visit the Butte School District website at www.bsd1.org. Click on 2020-21 Butte School District Online School Registration. Follow the instructions and submit.
In addition to online registration, kindergarten through 6th grade parents are required to submit proof of residence (i.e., utility bill), to your school office. Incoming kindergarten students are also required to submit copies of the following documents:
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records
- Proof of Residence (Cell phone bills will not be accepted as proof of residence.
Please note: School registration is based on the date of a completed registration. Registration is complete when online registration is completed and all documentation is turned into the school. We recommend that parent’s complete registration as soon as possible.
