The purpose of the High School Student Safety and Security Building Reserve Levy is to support and improve school safety. Passing this levy would allow Butte School District to dedicate funding to school safety instead of paying for safety-related expenses out of the general fund.

The General Fund is the main operating fund of the school district. Passing this levy will help keep all academic and extracurricular programs in place for all K-8 students, maintain all elementary facilities and continue to improve safety and security measures.
