Chair Yoga  - Chair Yoga is a great way for older adults to get the wonderful health benefits of yoga.  Staying seated means that even frail seniors or those who aren't flexible can safely do the exercises. English Smocking -This class is a modern approach to an ancient needle work form done on pleated fabric.  Usually seasonally themed, two or three projects are accomplished each quarter.  No sewing experience is required to master the basic stitches, which look much more difficult than they actually are.  Beginners are always welcome to stitch along with this class of smocking friends.  FEE:  $65 (Seniors $10)  LOCATION: BHS Teachers' Lounge   INSTRUCTOR:  Gayla Jozovich

Wellness/Creative Force - An Energy Routine (5-minute "tune -up ~ Meridian Brushing ~ Chakra Balancing), EFT (Tapping); material from Abraham-Hicks: basically, materials that hold the promise of guidance or ideas to improve the quality of your life and the lives of those with whom you share this planet.  There will be related topics/authors of interest: e.g. Louise Hay, Joe Dispenz, Brian Gym authors, DVDs featuring various contributors. Quilting - Students will learn how to choose color, texture, contrast, and size in fabric for their project.  You will learn to use a rotary cutter to cut out your project.  Cutting and piecing borders, basting a quilt with safety pins, quilting your project on a sewing machine and so much more. Drawing - open sessions with guidance - All levels.  The art of drawing guides you inconcpets each night, then finishes each session reinforcing the concept with a drawing project.  Study line, shape, value, color, composition, light, shadow, and perspective in mnay subjects.  Expect drawing growth.
